The colorful and eccentric King Julien XIII first appeared in the Madagascar franchise in the debut movie as the King of Madagascar, ruling the lemur kingdom since his uncle abdicated the throne. He has since appeared in multiple movies and series, namely All Hail King Julien of which he is the starring character, much to his approval. Next to being the ultimate party animal, Julien has a towering ego. The spoiled king likes to order everyone around and he would be completely intolerable if not for his insistence that everyone has fun!
