The film tells the tale of Merida, a headstrong and free-spirited princess who challenges her kingdom’s long standing traditions to live a life of independence. When she seeks help from a witch, an ill-fated wish is granted and Merida must undo a beastly curse before it’s too late. 

In the Highlands of Scotland, the kingdom of DunBroch resides. Merida and her family live within the walls of its strongly-built castle, constructed to be unyielding and simple in design. In this Loungefly depiction, the castle is recreated in custom-shaped applique, bringing forth its down-to-earth beauty. A starry sky sets a night time scene as Merida ventures into the forest after a glow in the dark wisp, armed with her bow.
